Sponsored by Sen. Raptakis, the bill would make it a
felony, punishable by up
to three years in jail and a $3,000 fine, for someone with a
revoked or suspended license to drive under the influence of
illegal drugs or liquor.

Leonidas P. Raptakis, (D-Dist. 33, Coventry, Warwick, West
Warwick, East Greenwich) and Leo Blais, (R-D. 21) Coventry,
Foster, Scituate) introduced legislation that would make
educational mandates unenforceable if they are not fully funded.
